Sepultura Announce Final-Ever Live Show In São Paulo This November

The farewell run for Brazilian metal icons Sepultura officially has an end date.

After first revealing plans for a worldwide farewell tour back in late 2023, the legendary outfit have now confirmed that their final live performance will take place on November 7th at Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu in São Paulo, Brazil.

The historic sendoff is expected to feature appearances from former members Jean Dolabella and Jairo Guedz. However, longtime fans hoping for a reunion involving founding brothers Max and Iggor Cavalera may be left disappointed, as reports continue to indicate the pair declined participation in the event.

The stacked farewell bill will also include performances from Metal Allegiance, Krisiun and Sacred Reich, with additional special guests still expected to be announced.

Sepultura’s impact on heavy music remains immeasurable, with landmark releases like ‘Chaos A.D.’, ‘Roots’ and ‘Arise’ helping shape generations of metal bands across thrash, death metal and groove metal alike.

General ticket sales for the final concert will begin this Saturday, May 30th. Santander presales are scheduled to launch tomorrow, May 28th at 12:00pm local time.
