Sevendust have officially joined the lineup for select dates on Creed’s ‘Return Of The Summer Of ’99 Tour‘ after 3 Doors Down were forced to bow out. The shake-up follows the unfortunate news that 3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold has been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer.
In a statement addressing their involvement and Arnold’s health, Sevendust shared:
“We’ll be joining Creed on their upcoming Summer of ‘99 Tour to fill in for 3 Doors Down. Brad, we’re thinking of you and sending strength. Can’t wait to see you all out there.”
While they won’t be filling in for the entire run of dates, Sevendust are locked in for the following three stops on the tour:
07/19 East Troy, WI – Summer Of ’99 And Beyond Festival
08/09 Mountain View, CA – Shoreline Amphitheatre
08/10 Stateline, NV – Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys

Sevendust always puts on an amazing show. I’ve seen them so many times since ’99 and have never been disappointed. I got to do a meet and greet with them in Atlanta a couple of years ago. They were so nice!
But will they be on the cruise next April???

Poor Creed. Sevendust is an incredible band live. One of the best I’ve seen. Very hard to follow.
