Metalcore project Showing Teeth have released their second single, “Rip”, following the launch of their debut track, “Labyrinth.” The group’s vocalist, who first gained attention for their viral social media performances, continues to carve a name in the modern metalcore scene.
Drums on “Rip” were once again provided by Matt Halpern of Periphery, who also contributed to the band’s first single. The track blends aggressive instrumentation with intense, emotionally charged lyrics, staying true to the band’s signature sound.

Commenting on the song, Showing Teeth said:
“‘Rip’ is a song about proving a point as violently as possible. Raised in a very strict, Christian-conservative environment in Kentucky, I did not take mental health issues very seriously. This is a very angry song that takes them very seriously.”
The track builds on the foundation set by “Labyrinth,” showcasing the band’s blend of personal storytelling, technical drumming, and ferocious metalcore energy.
