Leaked Press Application Reveals 2026 ‘Sick New World’ Festival Date And Location

The 2026 edition of the ‘Sick New World’ festival hasn’t been officially announced yet — but a leaked press request application appears to have confirmed when and where the festival will return next year.

According to the leaked document, the festival is set to take place on April 25th, 2026, once again returning to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, NV. The application link, which briefly appeared online before being pulled, has since circulated among members of the press and fans alike.

While the lineup remains unconfirmed, it’s widely expected that System Of A Down will headline again. Earlier this year, Serj Tankian mentioned during a meet and greet that the band would be part of the 2026 event.

After two successful years in 2023 and 2024, Sick New World hit a major setback when the planned 2025 edition was canceled due to sluggish ticket sales and an overly ambitious budget. Reports at the time suggested the lineup included Metallica and Linkin Park, both allegedly commanding $5 million guarantees, leaving too much financial risk on the table.
