Sicksense have unveiled the new music video for their latest single, “A Moment Of Violence.” The band once again co-directed the clip alongside Tony Aguilera, whose previous credits include work with Stitched Up Heart and Exodus.
Featuring members and alumni of Stuck Mojo, The Agonist, and other acts, Sicksense describe the new track as a deeply personal exploration of grief, death, faith, and the struggle to understand loss.
The band collectively offered the following about the song:
“The song discusses death and losing loved ones close to us. It’s a personal battle with God/a higher power, that we emotionally wrestle with and find difficulty and frustration in coming to terms with. There’s an irony in that if God loves us so much, why do we end up suffering in this life and suddenly losing all the ones we truly love to death.”
“A Moment Of Violence” arrives ahead of the band’s new EP, ‘Funerals,’ which is slated for release on September 25th.
Sicksense will also hit the road later this year alongside Eyes Set To Kill and Twist It for the ‘Guilty Pleasures Tour.’
