Silly Goose have once again made headlines for their bold, unorthodox approach to live music. The Atlanta-based nü-metal band—known for performing surprise sets at places like Waffle House, Chick-fil-A, Buc-ee’s, and more—were recently shut down by authorities after staging a guerrilla show at a BP gas station in Chicago, IL.

The pop-up performance ended with frontman Jackson Foster being arrested, despite his claim that employees at the gas station had given permission for the band to play. Foster later explained:
“To anyone who is curious: I got charged with criminal trespassing (which is bs because the employees at the gas station gave us permission to play there) and I’ll be back in Chicago September 2nd to appear in court. I’ll post a full video explaining once I get home.”
Instead of backing down, Silly Goose returned the next day to hold a fan listening party right across the street from the gas station where Foster had been arrested. The stunt comes on the heels of the band’s performance at this year’s Lollapalooza and ahead of the release of their new album Keys To The City, due out October 10th via Blue Grape Music.
