Slaughter To Prevail have shared a teaser for their upcoming music video for “Koschei,” the latest visual companion to material from their recently released album ‘GRIZZLY’.
Judging by the preview, the Russian deathcore outfit have gone all-in on the production. The clip appears to embrace a dark fantasy aesthetic filled with swords, sorcery, and large-scale cinematic visuals, suggesting one of the band’s most ambitious video projects to date.
The song’s title draws inspiration from Koschei, a notorious supernatural villain from Slavic folklore, often depicted as an immortal sorcerer. Based on the footage revealed so far, the mythology behind the character appears to have heavily influenced the video’s storyline and visual direction.
Ave Senshi directed the forthcoming clip, which is expected to arrive in full soon.
The release comes amid a busy year for Slaughter To Prevail following the arrival of ‘GRIZZLY’. The band recently announced a major North American tour alongside DJ Paul and Rev3rent, and both the tour and the upcoming “Koschei” video are expected to serve as the final pieces of the ‘GRIZZLY’ album cycle before the group scales back its schedule in 2027.
