Professionally-filmed footage of Slaughter To Prevail’s set at the Washington, DC stop of the ‘Vans Warped Tour’ 30th Anniversary festival has surfaced online. The clip was shared by frontman Alex Terrible himself, who drew attention during the performance by opening the set while waving a Russian flag — a move that sparked debate among festivalgoers and fans online.
While the band’s vocalist has consistently shown pride in his homeland, Terrible has also publicly condemned Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine. In response to renewed backlash following the flag display, he issued a new statement over the weekend addressing the controversy. The contents of that message have not yet been officially translated or released in full.
