Alex Terrible, the frontman of Russian deathcore band Slaughter To Prevail, is set to have his legendary bear-wrestling moments immortalized in a statue. Teaming up with Player 1 Studios, the vocalist is working on a fictionalized resin statue that will capture his infamous interactions with bears.
Taking to social media on March 13th, Terrible shared the backstory behind the statue’s creation:
“A few months ago, I bought some berserk figures from @player1_studios and decided to reach out to them on Instagram! They said they knew me and wanted to create something incredible for me. Here we are, guys! I’m SO STOKED!!! This is just a 3D model, and there will be several variations of the head, including different masks and a bold look with horn tattoos ☠️. I can’t wait to see the final result because their figures look AMAZING in real life. The quality of the painting and details is top-notch. This model will be 50 cm, but they’re also planning to make a 70 cm version. I can’t believe I’ll have an Alex Terrible statue!”
As a nod to his wild bear-wrestling history, Terrible also announced in October that Slaughter To Prevail‘s upcoming album will be titled Grizzly.

He legitimately did wrestle a bear once. If I did that and I had the money I’d probably want to showcase it too.
