Sleep Token have officially reached another major milestone, as their latest studio album Even In Arcadia has been certified gold in the United States.
The RIAA confirmed the certification on January 26th, awarding the masked alternative metal outfit their second piece of precious metal stateside. The band previously went gold with their breakout single “The Summoning” back in December 2024.
Released amid heavy anticipation, Even In Arcadia marked the group’s fourth full-length album and quickly made history upon its arrival last May. The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, moving an impressive 127,000 album-equivalent units in its opening week — a career-defining moment for the band and one of the year’s biggest chart debuts.
The album’s momentum hasn’t been limited to the U.S. either. Even In Arcadia was also certified gold in the United Kingdom this past December, further cementing Sleep Token’s global ascent.
In the United States, a gold certification represents 500,000 units, while platinum signifies 1,000,000 units. RIAA certifications account for physical and digital sales, as well as streaming, with 10 track downloads or 1,500 on-demand streams counting as one album unit. Additionally, 150 streams of a single equal one track-equivalent unit.
