The Smashing Pumpkins are marking the 35th anniversary of their debut album ‘Gish’ with a new vinyl reissue and accompanying merchandise capsule collection.
Originally released on May 28th, 1991, ‘Gish’ has now been reissued as a limited-edition colored vinyl pressing alongside a standard black vinyl edition available through the band’s official outlets. A new merch capsule inspired by the record has also launched via Smashing Pumpkins Official Store.
The anniversary campaign arrives during a nostalgic stretch for The Smashing Pumpkins, who recently reunited with original ‘Gish’ producer Butch Vig for the first time in over three decades.
The band are also preparing to revisit another milestone later this year, with a planned tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their landmark 1995 album ‘Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness’.
