Soen Parts Ways With Bassist Oleksii “Zlatoyar” Kobel, Welcomes Back Stefan Stenberg

Swedish progressive metal band Soen has announced the departure of bassist Oleksii “Zlatoyar” Kobel. Rejoining the band is Stefan Stenberg, who previously held the bassist role before exiting in 2020.

In their social media announcement, Soen expressed gratitude for Kobel‘s contributions and enthusiasm for Stenberg‘s return, highlighting his significant impact on their sound and energy.

The band is set to continue with their scheduled performances, including a series of shows in Latin America starting in February 2025. Fans can look forward to experiencing Soen‘s dynamic performances with the reinstated lineup.

We want to share an update with you all. Our bassist, Zlatoyar, has chosen to take a break from Soen.
While we will miss having him with us on stage, and in the band. We fully support his decision and respect his need to step away. We are deeply grateful for everything he has contributed in these last 4 years.
We wish him all the best during this break and look forward to what the future holds. 

Soen will continue forward, all booked shows will take place as planned  and we can’t wait to share what’s new with you all.
