Buffalo, NY hardcore outfit SPACED have shared a new single, “Pressure”, offering another glimpse into their signature ‘far-out hardcore’ sound. Vocalist Lexi Reyngoudt explained the meaning behind the track:
“It’s a karmic story—a cautionary tale showing that if you tempt the fates, the universe will eventually respond. Sometimes these people aren’t caught right away, but if the universe seems slow, this song is your anthem. ‘Pressure’ is us standing up to those who try to hold us down. The lyrics are repetitive because that’s what pressure feels like—constantly bearing down on you.”
The song comes ahead of SPACED’s new EP, No Escape, set for release on October 17th via Pure Noise Records.
