Staind will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their landmark album “Break The Cycle” with the release of “Break The Cycle (25th Anniversary Live)” on August 21.
The live release features performances of every track from the band’s five-times platinum third studio album. To coincide with the announcement, Staind have shared a live performance video for the record’s iconic lead single, “It’s Been Awhile.”
The upcoming release serves as both a retrospective of one of the band’s most successful albums and a preview of what’s to come on the road later this year. Fans can currently pre-order “Break The Cycle (25th Anniversary Live)” ahead of its August release.
In addition to the live album, Staind will be taking “Break The Cycle” back on the road this fall, performing the album in full during a lengthy North American tour.
The run kicks off September 3 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. Following that opening date, the band will be joined by Seether, Hoobastank, and Hinder for the majority of the trek, with select dates featuring modified lineups.
The anniversary tour is scheduled to make stops in Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh, Virginia Beach, Wantagh, Camden, Mansfield, Toronto, Tinley Park, Noblesville, Clarkston, Franklin, Phoenix, Houston, Austin and numerous other markets before wrapping up in October.
“Break The Cycle” was originally released in 2001 and remains one of Staind’s most commercially successful releases, propelled by hit singles including “It’s Been Awhile,” “Fade,” “Outside,” and “For You.”
