Multi-platinum alternative metal band Staind have been confirmed as a headlining addition to the Sioux Falls, SD edition of the controversial ‘Rock The Country’ festival, stepping in for Jelly Roll on June 28th.
The lineup change applies specifically to the second night of the Sioux Falls stop, which takes place at W.H. Fairgrounds as part of the touring festival’s 2026 run.
The Rock The Country Festival has continued to draw attention for its politically charged branding and artist roster, which blends country, rock, and rap acts. Founded with a strong emphasis on “patriot” culture, the festival has often been associated with conservative audiences and has featured Kid Rock as a recurring flagship performer.
The 2026 edition has already seen notable turbulence, including the cancellation of a planned stop in Anderson, South Carolina after multiple lineup changes and artist withdrawals. Staind themselves were previously added to that bill before the dates were ultimately scrapped.
The Sioux Falls lineup shift also arrives alongside reports that ‘Rock The Country’ has reduced ticket prices by up to 50% in a limited-time promotion. Organizers have described the move as a response to rising travel costs, though critics have suggested it reflects softer-than-expected ticket demand.
Staind frontman Aaron Lewis has remained closely aligned with the festival’s broader cultural positioning and is also scheduled to appear at additional 2026 tour stops with his solo project, The Stateliners.
‘Rock The Country’ 2026 dates:
- 05/01-02 Bellville, TX – Austin County Fairgrounds
- 05/29-30 Bloomingdale, GA – Ottawa Farms
- 06/27-28 Sioux Falls, SD – W.H. Fairgrounds
- 07/10-11 Ashland, KY – Boyd County Fairgrounds
- 08/08-09 Hastings, MI – Barry Expo Center
- 08/28-29 Ocala, FL – Florida Horsepark
