Static Dress Share “Dull Blade Disguise” Video Ahead Of ‘Injury Episode’ Release

Static Dress have released a new music video for “Dull Blade Disguise” just one day ahead of the arrival of their sophomore album, ‘Injury Episode’.

The British post-hardcore outfit unveiled the clip on May 28th as the latest preview of the upcoming record, which is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, May 29th, through Sumerian Records.

Continuing the band’s established visual style, vocalist Olli Appleyard once again stepped behind the camera to direct the new video himself.

“Dull Blade Disguise” serves as one of the final previews of ‘Injury Episode’, a record that has steadily built anticipation among fans following the band’s breakout debut and increasingly ambitious visual presentation.

Over the past several years, Static Dress have carved out a reputation for blending chaotic post-hardcore, early-2000s screamo influences, and cinematic aesthetics into a distinct identity that has separated them from many of their contemporaries.

With the album officially arriving tomorrow, “Dull Blade Disguise” offers another glimpse into the darker and more atmospheric direction the band appear to be exploring on the new material.
