SUN DONT SHINE (Crowbar, Ex-Type O Negative, Etc.) Release New Track “In The End”

SUN DONT SHINE — the new supergroup featuring Kirk Windstein (Crowbar), Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly (both ex-Type O Negative), and Todd Strange (ex-Crowbar/Down) — have dropped a brand-new single titled “In The End”. The track serves as the closer for their forthcoming debut album ‘Birth To Death’, which arrives in early 2026 via Corpse Paint Records.

While a specific release date has yet to be announced, pre-orders for the album are now live at corpsepaintrecords.com. The record will include nine tracks, including “Power To Live”, “The Promise Song”, and the newly unveiled “In The End.”

Frontman Kirk Windstein commented:

“‘In The End’ is a great example of what we want SUN DONT SHINE to sound like. It’s got dynamics, melody and a bit of heaviness to it.”

The band collectively added:

“‘In The End’ is the journey we’re all on… and the one we all must eventually take.”

A limited CD single featuring “In The End” along with previously released tracks “What You Are”, “Coming Down”, “The Promise Song”, and “Cryptomnesia” also drops today, October 29th.
