The Damned Things’ Rare ‘Batman’ Track “Trophy Widow” Finally Hits Streaming Services

While there has been little noise from The Damned Things camp in recent years, a piece of the supergroup’s history has finally resurfaced. The track “Trophy Widow” made its long-awaited debut on streaming services on Friday, December 19th, marking a rare moment of activity for the project.

Originally released in 2011, the song was a contribution to the Batman: Arkham City video game soundtrack—a star-studded compilation that also featured tracks from ††† (Crosses), Daughtry, and Panic! At The Disco.

A Limited Physical Return

The digital release coincides with a specialized physical drop. Guitarist and vocalist Joe Trohman has made a limited edition 7″ vinyl of the track available through his official website.

The pressing is strictly limited to 250 copies and features a curious B-side titled “File Missing.” Despite the sudden “digital housekeeping,” fans shouldn’t hold their breath for a full reunion. With Anthrax currently deep in their 2026 album cycle and Keith Buckley focused on the rise of Many Eyes, the band’s schedule remains a major hurdle.
