The Devil Wears Prada has announced they will release their eighth studio album Color Decay on September 16th through Solid State. Along with the announcement, the band released a video for the new single “Salt“, which can be found below.
The band offered the following regarding the song:
“‘Salt‘ is a song about trying to move forward and then feeling like nothing ever changes, even when you’ve seemingly done everything right. It’s the sort of feeling that makes you question every move you’ve ever made. Initially, the lyrics were just about having trouble writing songs for our new record, but soon, we realized that this feeling of fighting only to be stagnant and held down applies to so much more in our lives. It was really a breakthrough track and allowed us to dive in even deeper into what became ‘Color Decay‘.”

As previously announced, the band will be celebrating their 2010 EP Zombie and it’s the follow-up, 2021’s ZII by performing both EPs in their entirety this summer. The run finds the band supported by Stray From The Path, and Dying Wish. Tour dates run as follows:
