The Mars Volta’s Upcoming Album “Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos Del Vacio” Now Available for Pre-Order

The highly anticipated, yet still unofficially announced, album from The Mars Volta, titled Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos del Vacío, is generating buzz due to its unusual release strategy. Word of the album first leaked months ahead of its official announcement, with digital rips making their rounds shortly after. Instead of launching a typical early promotional campaign, the band has opted for a unique approach by performing the new material live at shows every night. There are even reports of The Mars Volta gifting fans with burnt copies of the album.

While the progressive rock pioneers haven’t made an official statement or staged a grand reveal, vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala recently hinted that the album is set to drop on April 11th—a date that aligns with long-standing rumors.
