British experimental metal project TheBoyShadow, led by former Loathe guitarist Connor Sweeney, has officially signed with Roadrunner Records. Alongside the announcement, the band released their debut single, “Give Me A Seam & I’ll Show You The Meaning”, which you can watch below.
A press release from the band explained the origins of the project:
“TheBoyShadow has been a work in progress for the past four years, where the artist turned introspection into fuel for his art. He processed his demons and was able to funnel them into the songs, surrounded by fellow artists who feel like family.”
TheBoyShadow is set to play their first live show on April 6th at Camden Assembly in London, UK, with support from Loveletter and Held Under.
This debut marks a significant step for Sweeney as he transitions from his previous work with Loathe into his own vision, blending experimental metal with personal narrative and cinematic elements.
