California metalcore outfit Thrown Into Exile have officially signed with BLKIIBLK Records, joining a rapidly expanding roster under the label’s new leadership structure.
The band are among the latest additions to BLKIIBLK, alongside recent signings Cro-Mags, Forbidden, Nunslaughter, and Unto Others. The surge in activity follows Mike Gitter being appointed global head of A&R for BLKIIBLK through the Frontiers Music Group.
Thrown Into Exile are currently working on a new studio album, which is expected to arrive later this year.
Commenting on the deal, the band said:
“We couldn’t be more happy to be working with Mike Gitter and BLKIIBLK Records. His A&R credits in metal are legendary and we look forward to what we will do together.”
Gitter also shared his thoughts on the signing:
“Seeing Thrown Into Exile’s drive and vision for themselves, it’s not surprising to see the progress they’ve made as a band. They’ve crossed into contender status and I’m proud to be working together and have them as part of the BLKIIBLK roster.”
With new backing and fresh material on the way, Thrown Into Exile appear poised to take a major step forward in the next phase of their career.
