To The Grave have unleashed a new music video for “Life Among The Septics,” the latest single from the Australian deathcore outfit’s upcoming album “Liberation Front.”
Directed by Colin Jeffs, the new video arrives as the band officially kick off their ‘Nail Australia To The Walls’ headlining tour, which will see them hit the road across Australia alongside Algor Mortis and Bloodmouth.
The song itself finds To The Grave reaching back toward some of the influences that shaped their “Director’s Cuts” album, bringing together bouncing riffs, bursts of speed and plenty of dynamic shifts. Bassist Matt Clarke explained:
“This song was us leaning hard back into the same influences as our ‘Director’s Cuts’ album. It’s got all those elements in it: bouncy riffs, some fast stuff and just lots of dynamics. We’re looking forward to playing this one on the upcoming tours…that start today. Australia now, North America in two weeks!”
The band also opted to take a somewhat different approach with the visual this time around, bringing friends into the shoot rather than sticking strictly to the performance-focused format of some of their previous videos.
“For the video, we wanted to do something a bit different to the other performance videos. We got a bunch of our mates to come down and hang with us. We did something that’s somewhere between serious and fun.”
“Life Among The Septics” will appear on “Liberation Front,” the forthcoming To The Grave album set to arrive through BLKIIBLK on October 2.
The band have also confirmed that their Australian run will be followed by a North American tour in two weeks, with the current Australian dates running as follows:
