The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza are gearing up for their first live performance since 2011—and they’re coming back heavier than ever. The Murfreesboro, TN-based mathcore outfit will return to the stage on October 5th at this year’s Furnace Fest in Birmingham, AL, marking a long-awaited reunion that fans have been clamoring for.
A newly surfaced rehearsal video has confirmed the official lineup for their live comeback. Original vocalist Jesse “Danza” Freeland, guitarist duo Layne Meylain and Josh Travis, bassist Mike Butler, and drummer Mason Crooks are all back in action. Joining them for this new chapter is an additional guitarist, ERIC (last name not yet revealed), rounding out the band as a three-guitar attack for the first time in their career.

As previously reported, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extraganza will be closing out the final day of Furnace Fest 2025, sharing the bill with the likes of Converge, Norma Jean, Bleeding Through, and more. With this lineup and energy, their return looks to be one of the most talked-about moments of the festival.
Stay tuned for more updates as the band preps for their live return.
