British thrash metal/metalcore outfit Tortured Demon have officially joined BLKIIBLK, marking the occasion with the release of their new single “Apocalypse” and its accompanying music video.
The track serves as the band’s first offering since signing with the label, combining old-school thrash metal with low-tuned breakdowns while introducing the next chapter of their musical and lyrical direction.
The band shared the following statement about the new single:
“‘Apocalypse’ channels the anger and resentment of the young, staring into a bleak future that’s being actively sold off by the ruling classes. With E-standard thrash and low-tuned breaks all melted into the same pot, this song cohesively brings together all of the sonic elements of Tortured Demon, as we look towards the future both musically and lyrically. ‘Apocalypse’ serves as our mission statement moving forward, and we are proud to launch it as our debut BLKIIBLK track.”
Following the release, Tortured Demon will hit the road with Unburier for a series of shows across the United Kingdom and Ireland, beginning October 22 in Glasgow, Scotland. The tour continues through England and Wales before heading to Dublin and Belfast for its final two stops in November.
