Touché Amoré Release “Diamond Keys,” Early Alternate Version Of “Finalist”

California post-hardcore outfit Touché Amoré have unveiled “Diamond Keys,” an early alternate version of their song “Finalist.”

The track originates from sessions for the band’s 2024 album Spiral In A Straight Line, which was produced by Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot). While the version that ultimately appeared on the record was retitled “Finalist,” Diamond Keys features an entirely different set of lyrics and a notably distinct approach.

The band shared the alternate take as a gesture of appreciation to fans, making it available exclusively via Bandcamp.

“Later renamed FINALIST (which appears on SPIRAL IN A STRAIGHT LINE), this is the original version with a completely different set of lyrics,” the band explained.

“Available for free to download and stream exclusively on Bandcamp as a thank you to everyone for all the support we received in 2025.”

The release offers a rare glimpse into Touché Amoré’s creative process, showcasing how the song evolved before landing in its final form on the album.
