Touché Amoré Drop Youth Code Remix Of “Palm Dreams”

Californian post-hardcore outfit Touché Amoré are revisiting one of their most defining releases with an expanded edition of ‘Stage Four’, set to arrive this Friday, April 10th — and they’re bringing some heavy collaborators along for the ride.

The deluxe version of the album packs in 11 bonus tracks, including remixes from members of Deafheaven, The Blood Brothers, and rising nü-gaze artist Wisp. Among the standout additions is a rework of “Palm Dreams” by Youth Code, who inject their signature EBM intensity into the track.

Touché Amoré shared insight into how the collaboration came together, revealing that guitarist Nick Steinhardt initially suggested bringing Youth Code into the fold due to the song’s early direction:

“When we first started shooting around ideas for what to include with this release, @nicksteinhardt had the idea to approach @youthcodeforever to remix ‘Palm Dreams‘ because the early demos had a pummeling and goth feel to it. What they were able to do with our song blew our minds. We are so thrilled to share this with you.”

Originally released in 2016, Stage Four stands as one of the band’s most personal works, with vocalist Jeremy Bolm channeling the grief and emotional weight of his mother’s battle with cancer into the album’s lyrics. Over time, the record has become a landmark release within post-hardcore — both for its vulnerability and its raw intensity.

Despite the heavy subject matter behind the album, Touché Amoré are continuing to celebrate its legacy live, with a run of shows spanning North America, South America, and Europe throughout 2026.
