Trivium have announced the dates for their upcoming ‘Crown In The Grave’ North American headlining tour.
The extensive fall trek will feature support from Swedish melodic death metal legends In Flames, Swedish groove metal standouts Orbit Culture, New Jersey deathcore outfit Fit For An Autopsy, and Texas death metal force Frozen Soul. Notably, Trivium frontman Matt Heafy has previously collaborated extensively with members of Frozen Soul.
The tour will serve as the launchpad for the band’s next chapter and comes as Trivium prepare to unveil music from their forthcoming studio album, with new material expected to arrive in the near future. The run will also mark one of the first major tours featuring drummer Rudi Dolezal behind the kit.
Speaking on the announcement, the band stated:
“This fall’s Trivium tour is a huge one for us. The lineup is stacked from top to bottom, and we’re honored to have special guests In Flames, who not only influenced our early years but continue to prove time and again why they’re one of the greatest metal bands of all time.”
“With Orbit Culture, Fit For An Autopsy, and Frozen Soul rounding out the bill, we can’t wait to get out there, kick off this next era of Trivium with Rudi behind the kit, and give you a taste of the new music we’ve been working on. We’ll see you soon!”
A special presale launches on July 21 at 12:00 p.m. EST using the code CROWN, while general ticket sales begin on July 24 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
