According to a statement shared by the band, their tour van suffered extensive damage after a fan clutch failure triggered a chain reaction of mechanical issues. The breakdown has left the group stuck in Mansfield, Ohio, with repair costs expected to be substantial and the immediate future of the tour uncertain.
After exploring several avenues to raise funds for the repairs—including encountering complications with payment services such as PayPal—the band have now turned to their fanbase for assistance by making their tour merchandise available online.
In a statement shared with fans, Vomit Forth explained:
“Hey everyone.
Our van broke down two days into our tour with Corpse Pile. The fan clutch exploded and punctured the radiator & intercooler, among a locked idler and shredded belts.
We’re currently stuck in Mansfield, OH til lord knows how long. The repair bill is likely to be pretty expensive so we’ve uploaded all of our tour merch online in an effort to help cushion the costs. If you can find it in your heart to pick up a t-shirt, it’d mean the world. Quite a few designs to choose from. Shipping as soon as we find our way back home.
