New Braunfels, TX alternative metalcore outfit Waves In April have announced their debut full-length album, ‘As Above, So Below’, set for release on September 6th.
The band’s latest single, “The Gallows,” is also out now, offering a preview of what’s to come from the forthcoming record.
‘As Above, So Below’ was produced by John Moyer of Disturbed, Matt Noveskey of Blue October, and Ethan Wade, with Wade also handling the mixing and mastering. The record was recorded at Orb Studios.
The band shared the following statement regarding the independently released effort:
“SURPRISE!! ITSSS HEREEEEE!! 🎉🎉 We are finally able to announce that we are fully independently bringing you our first full length album. There aren’t words to describe how much this record means to us and we are sick to our stomach excited to bring it to you so soon. Some of these songs grew up with us and some of them are songs we’ve had for 3 weeks. To everyone who has been with us through this journey from the bottom of our hearts thank you. To everyone who put pure blood, sweat, and tears into this album thank you. This is only the beginning for Waves In April. We will see you tonight on night one of the Everywhere/Nowhere at once tour. 🖤 WIA FOREVER 🖤”
Waves In April will also be taking the new material on the road, including a hometown album release show in New Braunfels, TX.
