Teenage hardcore punk outfit XCOMM have announced that their song “Borrowed Happiness” will appear in the upcoming film ‘Jackass: Best And Last’, the fifth and reportedly final feature based on the long-running stunt and comedy franchise. The movie is currently scheduled to hit theaters on June 26.
The placement marks another notable milestone for the young band, whose lineup includes Revel Ian, son of Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian. While still early in their career, XCOMM have quickly built momentum through a series of high-profile connections and collaborations.
The group is signed to Blowed Out Records, the label venture co-founded by Ghostemane, Bill Armstrong, and acclaimed producer Ross Robinson. Known for his work with Korn, Slipknot, and numerous other influential acts, Robinson has taken an active role in developing the band, producing their recently released debut album, ‘Time To Burn’.
With “Borrowed Happiness” now set to reach audiences through ‘Jackass: Best And Last’, XCOMM continue to expand their profile beyond the hardcore scene as the film’s release approaches.
