Rising alternative rock and rap star YUNGBLUD has responded to recent online criticism following a social media post showing him with Rammstein vocalist Till Lindemann in Perth, Australia last week.
The post sparked controversy due to Lindemann’s past, including allegations of sexual misconduct and other incidents reportedly connected to the German industrial metal frontman’s so-called “Row 0” backstage parties in 2023. German authorities ultimately dropped the investigation, and Lindemann later sued a publication disputing its exposé on the matter.
In a candid audio update shared on his own social media, YUNGBLUD clarified his perspective:
“I had absolutely no idea — obviously at the minute I’m meeting a lot of people every day without knowing fully who they are or what they’re about. And I can assure you, if I knew about any allegations, it would have been a completely different story. You all know what I stand for, always. I’ll be more for it in the future. I love you all.”
The statement reflects YUNGBLUD’s commitment to his values and addresses fans’ concerns over the photo, emphasizing that his encounter with Lindemann was not informed by the singer’s controversial history.

How about you get a life and stop spreading this story? Every rock news outlet is talking about it. Have you nothing actually news worthy to post? Yungblud should be apologizing to Till for his behavior towards him and for making an ass of himself in the rock community. Till Lindemann is innocent. There was no evidence that he committed SA. Also, if that wasn’t enough the woman who accused him admitted she lied and there was no SA. So stop with the bullshit story and promoting cancel culture. You know what would be news worthy? Sharing the story of Shelby admitting that Till did not SA her.

Ashley Lynn all of these people would’ve been huge influences in his style and art before he most likely ever heard about any of their allegations. Should you forget the art ingrained into your consciousness or do you still take their influence and ditch their credit because people would hate to know you took influence from them cuz it might make you a bad person too? Mais Till Lindemann, lui, qui a été blanchi par la justice, ce ne serait pas acceptable ?
Depuis plus d’un an, certains s’acharnent à traiter Till Lindemann d’agresseur sans la moindre preuve. Tout ça parce que des médias comme DER SPIEGEL et la NDR ont relayé des accusations sans fondement, reprises par des personnes qui croient tout ce qu’elles lisent sans réfléchir.
Rappel important que beaucoup semblent “oublier” : Shelby Lynn a elle-même reconnu avoir menti. Les accusations étaient donc fausses.
Mauvaise nouvelle pour ceux qui persistent : la justice allemande a statué, et les faits sont là.
– Le tribunal de Hambourg a interdit à DER SPIEGEL de suggérer que Till Lindemann aurait drogué des femmes pour les agresser (jugement du 21 février 2025 – n° 324 O 467/23).
– La NDR a été interdite d’affirmer qu’il aurait eu des rapports sexuels avec une femme inconsciente et sans consentement (jugement du 29 novembre 2024, confirmant l’ordonnance du 24 juillet 2024 – n° 324 O 307/24).
– La NDR ne peut pas non plus insinuer qu’il aurait agressé deux femmes en particulier (jugements du 10 août 2023, confirmés le 20 décembre 2024 – n° 324 O 273/23 et n° 324 O 89/24).
En clair ? Aucune preuve. Juste du bruit.
La justice a constaté que tout cela ne tenait pas debout et a interdit la diffusion de ces accusations.
Alors à tous ceux qui continuent à jouer les justiciers sur Internet sans connaître les dossiers : les faits sont là, la justice a parlé, et vos accusations ne reposent sur rien.
Et si certains veulent encore ouvrir la bouche sans preuve, qu’ils aillent voir le tribunal de Hambourg.
