Just days after being announced as the new vocalist of Vulvodynia, Zion Bittenbender has been accused of sexual assault.
An individual came forward via Instagram, sharing a detailed post alleging multiple instances of assault by Bittenbender. The accuser included screenshots of messages they claim support their account, alleging that Bittenbender assaulted partners while they were asleep and engaged in relationships with significantly younger individuals, including one who was allegedly 16 at the time.
In the post, the accuser described one alleged encounter in which Bittenbender attempted to initiate sex without consent and continued despite being resisted.
At the time of this writing, neither Bittenbender nor Vulvodynia have issued a public statement regarding the allegations.
