A Killer’s Confession are set to unveil another unexpected cover, this time taking on The Weeknd’s global smash hit “Blinding Lights.”
The band, fronted by former Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis, shared a brief teaser of the track online ahead of its official release. The full cover is scheduled to arrive on August 14, alongside the reveal of Reavis’ new mask design tied to the band’s upcoming album, ‘Victim 3.’
The forthcoming cover follows the group’s reimagining of Nirvana’s classic “Heart-Shaped Box,” which was released last year and showcased the band’s darker spin on a well-known hit.
While details surrounding ‘Victim 3’ remain limited, the album is expected to arrive later this year and will serve as the band’s next full-length release. A Killer’s Confession are also preparing to hit the road this fall in support of the record, with an extensive North American tour already on the books.
