Death metal supergroup Ablation have dropped their latest single “Victim Kink,” enlisting former Suffocation vocalist Frank Mullen for a punishing guest appearance.
The track marks the second single from the band’s upcoming debut EP ‘Lethal Abuse’, which is set for release on May 29th via Iron Fortress Records. Notably, Mullen appears on two tracks from the six-song effort, also contributing to “Eradicating The Feebleminded.”
The lineup behind this project reads like a who’s who of modern death metal, featuring:
- Devin Swank (Sanguisugabogg) – vocals
- Eric Morotti (Sanguisugabogg/ex-Suffocation) – drums
- Derek Boyer (Suffocation) – bass
- Rich Nagasawa (ex-Dehumanized) – guitar
According to the band, “Victim Kink” lyrically takes direct aim at false victimhood and manipulative deceit, aligning with the project’s aggressive and unapologetic tone.
With ‘Lethal Abuse’ arriving later this month and multiple high-profile collaborations already revealed, Ablation are shaping up to be one of the more compelling new forces in the death metal scene.
