The Acacia Strain Announce ‘The Dead Walk’ 20th Anniversary Summer Tour With The Callous Daoboys & More

The Acacia Strain are set to hit the road this spring and summer for the ‘You Are Safe The Dead Walk Here Tour’, celebrating 20 years of their third studio album ‘The Dead Walk’ while continuing to support their latest release ‘You Are Safe From God Here’.

Originally produced by Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage, ‘The Dead Walk’ remains a cornerstone of the band’s catalog—but fans shouldn’t expect a full-album performance on this run.

Joining the band on the tour are The Callous Daoboys as direct support, with fromjoy and Mask rounding out the lineup.

Frontman Vincent Bennett addressed the setlist expectations in his trademark blunt style:

“THE DEAD WALK IS 20. YOU ARE SAFE FROM GOD HERE ISN’T EVEN A YEAR OLD YET. NO WAY WE ARE PLAYING EVERY SONG OFF A 20-YEAR-OLD RECORD WHEN WE JUST CAME OUT WITH A NEW ONE. THE BEST WE CAN DO IS LIKE 5 OR 6 SONGS — TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. THE DEAD WALK SONGS. YOU ARE SAFE FROM GOD HERE SONGS. CALLOUS DAOBOYS SONGS — DURING THEIR SET ONLY. PLUS FROMJOY AND MASK ARE GOING TO BE THERE. INTIMATE VENUES. LIMITED BARRICADES. COME COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW WE DIDN’T PLAY THE ONE SONG YOU REALLY WANTED TO HEAR.”

Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday, April 17th at 10:00am local time.
