Vended have begun work on new music, with the alternative metal outfit recently sharing footage from a series of studio sessions taking place in Nashville, Tennessee.
The band have been documenting portions of the recording process through social media clips shared this month. The sessions have seen the group working across multiple facilities, with drum tracking taking place at Sienna Studios before other instrumental work continued at producer Nick Raskulinecz’s Rock Falcon Studio.
Raskulinecz has also appeared in the newly shared footage, suggesting he is involved in the band’s latest recording efforts. The veteran producer and engineer has an extensive résumé, having previously worked with Deftones, Ghost, Foo Fighters and numerous other artists.
The sessions mark another step forward for Vended as they work on the follow-up to their 2024 self-titled debut album.
The band’s lineup notably features Griffin Taylor, son of Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, on vocals, alongside drummer Simon Crahan, the son of Slipknot percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan.
Further details surrounding the new material, including a potential release timeline, have yet to be announced.
