Former KISS Guitarist ACE FREHLEY Reportedly On Life Support Following Serious Fall

Rock legend and founding KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has reportedly been hospitalized and placed on life support following a serious fall at his studio several weeks ago, according to TMZ.

The 74-year-old musician, best known as “The Spaceman,” reportedly suffered a brain bleed from the incident, which led to the cancellation of his upcoming tour dates. Initial statements from Frehley’s camp downplayed the severity, with a September 25th Instagram update stating:

“He is fine, but against his wishes, his doctor insists that he refrain from travel at this time.”

However, sources now claim his condition has worsened and that he has remained on a ventilator since the accident. Reports indicate his family may be facing the difficult decision of removing life support as early as Thursday evening. Despite circulating social media rumors, it’s understood that Frehley was still alive as of Thursday afternoon.

A later update shared through his official channels read:

“Due to some ongoing medical issues, Ace has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of his 2025 dates.”

Ace Frehley was part of the original KISS lineup alongside Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, and Peter Criss, helping define the band’s iconic sound and theatrical image from 1973 to 1982. He later rejoined for the band’s 1996 reunion tour, performing until 2002. Outside of KISS, he built a successful solo career under the banner Frehley’s Comet, continuing his legacy as one of rock’s most influential guitarists.
