All Shall Perish have announced a full North American tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark 2006 album ‘The Price Of Existence.’
After recently playing three Texas shows centered around the album, the influential deathcore outfit will now spend more than a month on the road this fall performing the record in full. The run will also feature several songs the band says were never performed live during the album’s original touring cycle.
In a statement announcing the trek, the band reflected on both the album’s legacy and the explosive mid-2000s heavy music boom that helped define the early deathcore movement.
“After 20 years, we are playing the ENTIRE record for you on a full US tour! Many of these songs we NEVER played live back in the day.”
They added:
“2006 was a crazy time for heavy music, SO many sick artists dropping fire and birthing a sub-genre. We are proud to have been a part of that moment in history.”
Widely viewed as one of the cornerstone releases of the MySpace-era deathcore explosion, ‘The Price Of Existence’ helped establish All Shall Perish as one of the genre’s most technically forward-thinking and aggressive acts.
