Progressive metalcore outfit Allt have premiered a music video for their new single “Omertà,” the latest preview of their upcoming album, Ataraxia.
The record is scheduled to arrive on July 31st via Century Media Records, with “Omertà” following previous singles released from the effort.
Frontman Robin Malmgren offered a brief but pointed explanation of the track’s meaning, stating:
“’Omertà’ is about knowing better and doing it anyway.”
Speaking more broadly about Ataraxia, the band explained that the album draws from personal experiences and the pursuit of peace amid life’s challenges.
“With ‘Ataraxia‘, we wanted to write from the place we actually live in, not an ideal version of it. The album is about the search for peace and stillness, and all the things that can pull you away from it. It’s not trying to offer answers or present some inspirational message. It’s more about what it felt like to live through these experiences, or watch people close to us go through them.”
