Former Every Time I Die guitarist Andy Williams has revealed that a new project documenting the history of the influential metalcore outfit is currently in the works. At the same time, Williams has poured some cold water on the possibility of the band ever reuniting.
Williams, who now performs with Atomic Rule while continuing his career as a professional wrestler, shared the update on social media yesterday, August 13th.
When a fan expressed hope that Every Time I Die might eventually reunite, Williams responded that such a prospect currently does not look promising.
“Not looking good at all.”
The guitarist did, however, reveal that fans may eventually get a deeper look at the band’s history through the aforementioned project. Details on who is involved with that undertaking or what form it will ultimately take have yet to be disclosed.
Every Time I Die came to an abrupt end in 2022 following an increasingly contentious split between the band and vocalist Keith Buckley. The remaining members — guitarist Jordan Buckley, bassist Stephen Micciche and drummer Clayton “Goose” Holyoak — subsequently joined forces with The Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato and others to form Better Lovers.
Williams, meanwhile, stepped away from the band and continued focusing on his professional wrestling career, including his time with AEW, before later launching Atomic Rule.
Keith Buckley went on to form Many Eyes, who have since continued building on the vocalist’s musical career outside of Every Time I Die.
