    Arch Enemy have begun hinting at their next chapter following the November 2025 departure of vocalist Alissa White-Gluz. A newly posted teaser clip shared across the band’s social platforms on February 13th has quickly fueled discussion among fans — particularly regarding the potential return of former frontwoman Angela Gossow.

    The brief visual teaser was also reposted by Gossow herself, intensifying speculation. Though she stepped away from performing with the band in 2014, Gossow never fully exited their camp, transitioning into a managerial role that she has maintained for more than a decade.

    Online chatter gained additional traction after observers noticed Gossow’s Instagram profile adopting a presentation similar to the band’s recent social media blackout-style aesthetic — a move often associated with incoming announcements or lineup shifts.

    At present, no official confirmation has been issued regarding lineup changes or new music plans.       Michael and Angel ain’t together no more lol she left everything in Arch Enemy world to stay at home, from touring lol hopefully over ten years is enough rest for her but Arch Enemy ain’t stepping down from heavy touring

          By best era, you mean the worst era with the most ridiculously monotone overprocessed vocals with zero cadence differences between songs then yes I guess that would identify it as the best era.

          By true fans do you mean the people that discovered the bands when she joined because the media wouldn’t shut up about it? Or do you mean the true fans that knew about the band beforehand and owned the record records with Johann on them? Those true fans?

          Or do you mean the fans that realized when Alyssa came in that they could actually do something because they had a vocalist that had dynamics and could perform live? Because Angela couldn’t perform live at the end of her tenure and she was using backing tracks a lot. And her vocals were overly processed. She was barely doing anything on the mic. If this is all new information to you, it must be because you’re a child.

          The new records with Alyssa, especially the last couple had way more dynamics in the songwriting as well. Plus, they went back to actually having more melody in them and not just Chugga Chugga Chugga, Chugga Chugga, like most bullshit modern bands. 

          Johan at least had that old school Swedish melodic scathing shredding your vocal cords sound. Alyssa is an actual true vocalist. Angela was a gimmick. She is going to sound awful with the newer material and you will be able to tell she’s not actually performing those songs live ala Wasp. Angela hand picked Alyssa for a reason.

          John Mays funny Alissa sucked live. I booked her twice pre Arch and she couldn’t sing her parts well then. And she’s a shitty person. She treated her fans like dirt back then I’m sure she’s still the same.

          Sure, whatever you say. I liked Johan and I liked Alyssa. I was 18 when Angela joined arch enemy originally. I stopped listening to the band after wages of sin. It was just pitiful. Especially after seeing her live.

          Hey you like fake backing tracks and overly processed vocals so I guess yeah you are going to love it 🤷
