Canadian tech death speedsters Archspire have taken on an unexpected challenge, reworking Rosé and Bruno Mars’ 2024 K-pop hit “APT.” during a single-day studio session for Musora’s On The Spot series.
The concept behind the series pushes artists to create a full cover in real time, with no extended prep, resulting in spontaneous reinterpretations of well-known tracks. Archspire’s contribution sees them push “APT.” into their signature high-velocity technical death metal chaos while still retaining the structure of the original hit.
Fans can watch the band’s creative process unfold in the studio, from initial arrangement ideas through to the completed version recorded by the end of the session.
Archspire released their fully crowdfunded album Too Fast To Die earlier this April and have continued touring heavily in support of the record throughout 2026.
