Atreyu Team With Max Cavalera On Sepultura-Inspired Single “Children Of Light”

Atreyu have unveiled their latest single ‘Children Of Light’, featuring none other than metal icon Max Cavalera, known for his work with Sepultura, Soulfly, and more. The track serves as another preview of the band’s upcoming album ‘The End Is Not The End’, due out April 24th via Spinefarm.

The collaboration leans heavily into classic Sepultura-inspired aggression, with the band openly acknowledging the influence and their excitement about bringing Cavalera into the fold.

“‘Children Of Light’ was created with a primal spirit in mind. A ‘festival’ song. Heavily inspired by classic Sepultura, though it seemed like an untouchable ask, we wanted Max involved. We’re honored to share this song with a legend.”

The track highlights a heavier, groove-driven direction for Atreyu, blending their melodic metalcore roots with thrash-infused elements that reflect Cavalera’s legacy.

‘The End Is Not The End’ will be released later this month, with fans able to preview the album early via a free livestream listening party hosted on Veeps on April 22nd.
