August Burns Red appear to be nearing the finish line on their long-anticipated tenth studio album. This past Friday, vocalist Jake Luhrs revealed that he has officially wrapped up his vocal tracking for the record, which the band expects to release in 2026.
Luhrs shared the update through social media, noting that the vocal sessions were completed alongside longtime producer Grant McFarland, who once again handled production duties. He also hinted that the new material is shaping up to be one of the band’s heaviest outings yet.
“Today I celebrate the last day in the studio. Two months of grinding with @grantrmcfarland and @brentrambler on vocals along with the rest of the boys.
This one’s a hitter. Beyond blessed to be in a position of creativity and art.

The forthcoming album will follow the band’s 2023 release Death Below, marking their first full-length in three years.
