August Burns Red Release Re-Recorded Version of “Your Little Suburbia Is In Ruins”

August Burns Red have unveiled a lyric video for their newly re-recorded version of “Your Little Suburbia Is In Ruins,” the first single from the 20th anniversary edition of their debut album, Thrill Seeker.

The band’s current lineup revisited the album in full, including the bonus track “Pride & Humility,” for this celebratory re-recording. Set for release on January 24th via ABR Records, the album was recorded with longtime collaborators Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland at the helm.

Adding to the excitement, Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz—the producer and mixer of the original release—returns with a guest spot on “Speech Impediment.” Additionally, former vocalist Josh McManness lends his voice to the reimagined track “Barbarian.”

Jake Luhrs, the band’s current vocalist, shared his thoughts on revisiting the album:

“When I joined the band in early 2006, I often spoke about how I’d love to do vocals on a studio recording of ‘Thrill Seeker‘. I did the majority of the touring on the album and always felt a deep connection to it. As the 20 year anniversary of the album approached, we decided to finally give ‘Thrill Seeker‘ a facelift. It was such a rewarding experience to dust these songs off and give them new life. This album changed the course of my life and I can’t wait for fans to hear this.”
