Today, Avenged Sevenfold’s landmark third album City Of Evil officially turns 20. Released on June 06th, 2005, the platinum-selling record marked a massive turning point in the band’s career — launching them into mainstream success with hits like “Bat Country” and “Beast And The Harlot.”
To commemorate the album’s anniversary, the band has unveiled a special 20th anniversary silver vinyl pressing, limited to just 500 copies. The exclusive reissue is part of a new City Of Evil merch capsule available now through a7xworld.com. Unsurprisingly, the vinyl sold out almost immediately upon launch.
While the vinyl may be gone, fans can still grab other anniversary merch and celebrate two decades of an album that helped reshape the sound of modern metalcore and hard rock.
