Rumors of major changes within Bad Wolves have been gaining traction in recent months, and now another shift has entered the spotlight. Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz, vocalist for the multi-platinum-certified alternative metal band, has now appeared on stage with Falling In Reverse, serving as bassist and providing backing vocals during the band’s ongoing summer European festival run.
Laskiewicz made his debut with Falling In Reverse this past weekend at Germany’s Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals.
This development arrives not long after Bad Wolves parted ways with longtime members Doc Coyle (guitar) and Kyle Konkiel (bass) back in April. Since then, Chris Cain has rejoined the band on guitar, while Kevin Creekman—known for his work with former Bad Wolves frontman Tommy Vext—has been added as the new bassist.
The reshuffling follows Vext’s cryptic comments earlier this year, when he stated he was “about to be a part of the craziest comeback story in the industry’s history.” Speculation has run wild ever since, especially given the dramatic and highly publicized split between Vext and the band in 2021. With Creekman having previously served as bassist for Vext‘s solo efforts, the ties between camps continue to blur.
Meanwhile, the status of former Falling In Reverse bassist Tyler Burgess remains unclear. He hasn’t been seen onstage with the band recently and appears to have unfollowed both the band and frontman Ronnie Radke on social media, suggesting he may no longer be involved.
Falling In Reverse‘s European tour continues with the following shows:
