Balmora Drop Surprise EP ‘Prologue’

Connecticut-based metalcore act Balmora have been gaining traction with their dynamic blend of heavy riffs and intense melodies. Today, the band surprises fans with the release of Prologue, their third EP in as many years, following 2023’s With Thorns of Glass and Petals of Grief and their 2024 split with Since My Beloved, Six Pacts Etched in Blood. The three-track EP showcases their signature crisp, heavy sound with plenty of melodic elements. According to the band:

“There is something for everyone in the new Balmora material, but at the end of the day, if you ever wanted to hear what The Black Dahlia Murder sounded like if they had Irate mosh parts, this will be for you.”

Out now via DAZE/Ephyra, Prologue is described as a glimpse into their upcoming full-length album expected later this year.
