Reconfigured metalcore outfit Balmora have dropped a new single titled “Inheritance & Solitude,” offering the latest preview of their upcoming debut album These Graven Halls, due May 29.
The track marks another step forward for the band following recent lineup changes, including the addition of vocalist Paul Cole (Since My Beloved, Wings Of Kynareth) replacing Chris “Senti” Misenti earlier this year.
Speaking on the new single, guitarist Jay Torblaa said:
“‘Inheritance & Solitude’ is about the acceptance of suffering and eventual demise. No matter where you are in life, there is always suffering, and there’s always death.”
The album will be released through DAZE on May 29.
Alongside the new music, Balmora have also confirmed a packed slate of touring, including a full West Coast headlining run with Empty Shell Casing, In 2 Again, Killing Pace, and The Test Dream.
